Here are the pictures I took yesterday...

We know we have the Juneteenth event coming up on the 21st. However, we wanted to engage you guys to see if anyone wanted to meet again at Elm Fork at 9 am that morning to shoot the steel targets. Some of you have not had the opportunity, and they also have a dueling tree. That provides a level of shooting that 2 people can shoot against each other. It's fun, but also puts your skills to the test.

What does that mean? Shooting at paper targets will not be sufficient when/if that time comes. Fast and accurate shots will be required. Shooting Steel provides a different atmosphere for shooters.

And it's fun!!!

The steel target bays are $26/per person.

We just want to see if anyone would be interested in getting there at 9am, so shoot for a couple of hours. Then some of us will be headed to…

Range day starts at 9am. Elm Fork offers long gun activities at 50 yards and 100 yards, in addition to pistol bays of regular shooting and steel targets. They would not let us reserve a bay without significant charges, so it will be first come first serve with regards to shooting lanes, but they have plenty.

Once you come through the gate, parking is to the right and on down. Once you park, we will meet at the botton of the little hill down from the Range office. The office is elevated so I'm calling it a hill, but it's the only building in this area.

As you walk towards the office, please have your ears on as even though they may be just opening, it's highly probable that someone may be shooting a rifle. Protect your…
